Rodney Kieke and April Morris opened Gulf Coast Home Watch because they are passionate about Galveston Island and passionate about helping homeowner’s realize their dreams by assisting them and utilizing their skills to ensure homes are kept in the best and healthiest shape possible.

Rodney and April both grew up in Breckenridge, TX and then pursued different occupations and moved to different locations. Rodney moved to Austin where he had a very successful career in Facilities and Business Services Management. He then semi-retired in the great fishing destination of Lake Fork. During his time in East Texas he served as the City Secretary / Administrator and Executive Director of Economic Development. Over the years, he has also owned and operated several home services and repair businesses. Rodney has an adult daughter and is due to be a grandfather this year.

April was born in, and returned to Houston after high school. She has been a Realtor for 25+ years. She owned a very successful corporate housing company for 14 years, and has worked in property management. She is passionate about her family, her clients, homes, and vacation rental management. She has two adult daughters and is thrilled to be in Galveston, where she moved 3 years ago, as soon as she became an empty nester.

Rodney and April enjoy walking on the Sea Wall, Fishing on the West Bay, attending church, taking their two dogs Josie and Maggie to the beach, and to the dog park, and they enjoy volunteering in local organizations. They are extremely happy to be in Galveston, which is what they both dreamt of for many years. They are equally happy to work with homeowners in achieving their dreams and maximizing their investments.
